Conveyancing Practitioners

In some jurisdictions, licensed conveyancers – who are not legal practitioners – represent transacting parties in completing conveyancing transactions.

Conveyancers are restricted to assisting with the completion of conveyancing transactions only and are generally restricted to residential transactions involving property below a specific value.

Conveyancers are not permitted to operate in Queensland or the Australian Capital Territory.

Conveyancers are known as Settlement Agents in Western Australia.
